Motorbike rider killed and passenger critically injured in collision south of Grampians National Park

The passenger was airlifted to hospital following the two-vehicle crash.
A man has died and another is fighting for life after the motorbike they were travelling on collided with a car near the  Grampians National Park.

The passenger was airlifted to hospital following the two-vehicle crash.

A motorcyclist has died and his passenger is fighting for life after a crash on Saturday.

Their bike collided with a car at the intersection of Mill Rd and Taylors Rd at Moutajup, 10-minutes south of the Grampians National Park in Victoria, about 4.30pm.

The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old man from Coleraine, died at the scene.

His passenger, who is yet to be formally identified, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car involved, a 20-year-old man from Lake Mundi man, stopped at the scene. He was not physically injured.

The young man was interveiwed by police pending results of an ongoing investigation.
