The suspected attacker of a young man who was stabbed to death has handed himself in to police.
A 22-year-old man was taken to Mudgee Hospital in Central West, NSW, late on Saturday night with a stab wound to his stomach.
However, he could not be saved, and police were called to the hospital.

It’s believed the man was stabbed during a fight with another person on Gladstone St in Mudgee.
About 3.20pm on Sunday, a 28-year-old man attended Toowoomba Police Station, where he was arrested.
NSW detectives are now en route to Queensland to apply for an extradition warrant.
A strike force has been established to investigate the man’s death, with police appealing to anyone who has dashcam footage of the vicinity of Gladstone St between 10.30pm and 10.50pm to get in contact.
