A young man has been rushed to hospital after he was allegedly attacked by three men armed with a machete in Sydney‘s south.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Carvers Rd in Oyster Bay about 11.30pm on Thursday, where a 20-year-old man had reportedly been assaulted by the three men.

Police said they had armed themselves with a machete.

Paramedics treated the man for head and hand injuries before taking him to hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established, with police continuing to investigate the incident.
