Police are looking for a knife-wielding passenger following the armed robbery of an Uber driver last week.
The man reportedly got into the rideshare car which was parked outside strip club Wanderlust in Mitchell, one of the two Canberra areas where brothels are allowed to operate in the ACT, at about 12.20am last Monday.
He approached the car and asked if the driver would do a cash job — offering a fake ID to the driver to guarantee his trip, police said.

But once inside, it was the passenger who demanded cash from the driver.
Sitting in the passenger seat, he allegedly pulled out a knife and ordered the driver to take him to withdraw cash from an ATM in Watson, an eight-minute drive south.
They arrived at a block of shops, where the alleged armed robber demanded the driver’s phone, car keys and bank card before withdrawing a sum of money.
The alleged offender is described as a Caucasian man with a slim build.
Police are seeking information from anyone who saw the man and the Uber driver in Mitchell, or at the shops in Watson after 12.20am on June 2.
Investigations are ongoing.
