Fallen trees caused the most damage overnight.

A couple were not injured when a tree fell on to their Morphettville home.

About 55,000 homes lost power during the storm.

Coastal regions were heavily affected, with king tides and gale force winds damaging jetties and beachside properties, while dust storms in the mid-north made driving extremely dangerous.
